Located in the hotel’s lobby, Chrysalis Lobby Lounge overlooks the National Gardens and is the ideal place to enjoy refreshments, drinks or a light snack throughout the day.
The restaurant offers a great breakfast buffet every morning and it is the perfect way to start exploring Athens. Lunch and dinner a la carte are available as well.
We are certified to offer Greek Breakfast, i.e. quality greek delicacies like semolina and tahini halva, tsoureki, rice pudding, a variety of whole meal rusks with olive, tomatoes, cucumber, feta cheese, traditional cheese pie and more.

2. By METRO / UNDERGROUND Guests may get on the Metro from the Airport’s Station and get off at Syndagma Metro Station. From Syndagma Sq. station Amalia Hotel is just 100m away, walking along Amalias Ave. The approximate time of the trip from the Airport to Amalia Hotel is 45 minutes. The cost is 10.00 Euros per person.
3. By TAXI The approx. time from the Airport to the Hotel is 35-40 minutes. The cost during day-time (05.00-23.00) is 40.00 Euros and during night-time is 55.00 Euros. Do not hesitate to contact us in case you need further assistance.
From Piraeus Port you can reach Amalia Hotel Athens by Underground/Metro.
Take the Underground from Piraeus Port Terminal Station (located opposite gate E7/E8) to Monastiraki Station, then change to metro from Monastiraki Station to Syntagma Sq. Ticket costs 1.40 euros per person and the duration of the trip is approx. 40 minutes.
Alternatively you can reach our hotel from Piraeus port by taxi (max. 4 passengers).
The ride lasts approx. 20-25 minutes and costs 17-20 euros (daytime 05.00 – 23.30).
